Our company is seeking chefs!

We are looking for hard working, passionate, experienced people who love putting smiles on faces! We have grown from one small venue to four, so upward movement is highly likely. Our current team is from Puglia, Rome, Tuscany, America and of course Australia, each bringing their individual talents to South Gippsland.

The Chef position is responsible for:

-          Prepare and serve dishes as shown

-          Quality and consistency from food storage, prep, right through to the end of service

-          Author and complete prep lists for individual section

-          Monitor freshness of product

-          Maintain organisation of product as per Food Health Safety Guidelines

-          Offer input in menu design

-          Ensure efficiency in prep and service

-          Maintain cleanliness of person and station as per Hygiene Standards

-          Prepare order sheets

-          Train juniors

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

-          Minimum 3 years experience, preferably in Italian fare

-          Hard working with a passion for food and experimentation

-          Be able to work autonomously and within a team

-          Preferably has Cert III or higher in a kitchen- focused diploma

-          Preferably has experience with a woodfire oven
